TRY BEFORE YOU BUY SADDLE PROGRAM

We feel the best way for you to know if a saddle is right for you and your horse is to ride in it. We have "demo" models of most of the saddles we carry. If the saddle is determined to be an adequate fit  for your horse,it may be taken out for 5 days with in a local area and 2 weeks(shipping time included) for out of the local area. You must leave a credit card number with us and fill out a trial form.

Ride in the saddle with your normal leathers and girth(or cinch). You do not have to wrap your irons(or stirrups),but we do request that you take proper care of the saddle while it is in your possesion.Return the saddle at the end of the trial period in the same box and packing that it arrived in.NOTE: Insure for full value.(Please do not make us "squirrely-"no packing peanuts!)

A saddle fitting will determine the correct size for both you and your horse. Custom saddles(Black Country,Frank Baines for example) are non returnable for any reason(all saddles are checked before release to you). Stock saddles (Bates,Crosby,Reinsmanfor example)may be returned for a 25% restocking fee,if the distributor permits returns.

What's New
  1. P.U.P.
Pup stands for: Pick Up Pad!!! Make sure you pull your pad up into the gullet of your saddle before doing up the girth or cinch. This will prevent pressure and rubbing on the very sensitive area over the withers. Your horse will thank you!

  2. Braiding-when it's all done!
WHen it is time to take out all those lovely braids-wet the mane throughly first. the braids will just fall out once you cut your yarn or bands

  3. Shiny Boots
Keep a pair of old Knee highs or the legs of a pair of panty hose(This probably works better for the Ladies than the Guys!)in your boot kit. They will polish your boots to a high shine in between classes.

  4. Just a Bit-
If your horse is hard to bridle-try wrapping the bit in a fruit wrap/roll(available in the snack isle at the gorcery store). While he is licking the fruit, you can try slipping the bit in his mouth.
